Obituary of Eleanor Mae Steele

Eleanor Mae Steele, age 86 of Sweet Valley, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the River Run Rehab & Nursing Center, Kingston.
Mrs. Steele was born in Lake Township on September 19, 1929 and was the daughter of the late George, Sr. and Edith Swire Steltz.
Eleanor graduated from the former Laketon High School in 1947. She was an active member of the Loyalville United Methodist Church. Eleanor enjoyed activities with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Alton Steele; daughter, Roberta Levandoski and her husband Paul of Harding; son, Brent Steele and his wife Trudi of Sweet Valley; grandchildren, Melissa, Patrick, Wesley, Andrea, and Erika; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Madison, Aiden, Maci, Ella, Chase and Brianna.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 11:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Carol Folk of the Loyalville United Methodist Church, officiating.
Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Bethel Hill Cemetery, Fairmount Township.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the Loyalville United Methodist Church, 602 Loyalville Rd., Harveys Lake, PA 18618.
