Obituary of Arthur John Ondish

Arthur J. Ondish, age 69 of Kunkle, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 18, 2016 at home.
Mr. Ondish was born in Kingston on November 18, 1946 and was the son of Mary Lapointe Ondish Price of Kunkle and the late John Ondish, Jr.
Arthur graduated from Gate of Heaven Elementary School and Dallas High School in 1964. He was a member of the Freedom Hill Church, formerly the Huntsville Christian Church, Jackson Twp. Arthur was employed by Proctor and Gamble Paper Products in Mehoopany for 30 years, and later did consulting work for Alexander and Associates and retired from Pride Mobility in Exeter. Arthur was an accomplished musician playing guitar in many bands throughout his life including the Roger Furman Band and most recently the Praise Band at the Freedom Hill Church. He was also an avid car enthusiast. Arthur was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He and his wife, the former Linda Parsons would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 4.
In addition to his mother and wife, Arthur is survived by daughters, Christine Kutz and her husband Gordon of Orange, Jennifer Porasky and her husband Brian of Kunkle, and Tammy Feher and her husband Robert of Kunkle; grandchildren, Mark and Christian Szot, Kane Kutz, Brandon and Garrett Porasky, and Ashley and Robert Feher.
A memorial service will be held Thursady at 7:00 PM from the Freedom Hill Church, 1160 Church Rd., Dallas, PA 18612 with Pastor Patrick Colladay officiating.
Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the church, prior to the service on Thursday.
Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
