Obituary of Louise M. Evans

Louise May Evans, age 85 of Sweet Valley, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at home, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born in West Wyoming on May 4, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Howard and Catherine Rozelle Coolbaugh. Louise graduated from West Wyoming High School in 1948 and was the former tax collector for Ross Township for many years. Louise loved spending time with her family. She was very proud of all her grandchildren and blessed with a set of triplets whom she loved to talk about. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lewis Wilson Evans who passed away on February 7, 2007, and to whom she was married to for 59 years and grandchildren, Leigh Ann Morgan and Johnathan Walski. Louise is survived by children, Diane Lamoreaux and her husband Merlin of Sweet Valley, Gary Evans and his wife Susan of Illinois, Barry Evans and his wife Bonnie of Sweet Valley, Larry Evans and his wife Mary Jane of Harveys Lake, Richard Evans and his wife Donna of Trucksville, Beth Morgan and her husband Tom of Lehman, Karen Evans of New Jersey, Alan Evans and his wife Donna of Huntington Mills, and Lisa Walski of North Carolina; 27 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; beloved cat, Ebony. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1:30 pm from the Sweet Valley Church Of Christ, 5439 Main Road, Sweet Valley, PA 18656 with Pastor Richard Rexrode, officiating. Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday, March 11 at Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118 , Pikes Creek and from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM on Saturday prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek.
