Jeanne Eve Cragle Obituary
Jeanne Eve Cragle, age 82 of Sweet Valley, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Mrs. Cragle was born in Wilkes-Barre on November 21, 1933 and was the daughter of the late John and Annie Gomb.
Jeanne received her nursing degree in 1954 from the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital School of Nursing. She practiced as a Registered Nurse in the pediatric care unit at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York City, and later at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital before retiring from Bonham's Nursing Center, Stillwater.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Cragle who passed away in 1997.
Jeanne is survived by daughter, Caroline Yockavitch and her companion Atty. Mark McNealis; son, Jeffery Cragle.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek.
Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
