Obituary of Robert S. Gregory

Robert S. Gregory, Jr., age 73 of Dallas, passed Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas.
Mr. Gregory was born in Kingston on November 28, 1942 and was the son of the late Robert, Sr. and Helen Totten Gregory.
Robert grew up on the family farm in Lehman, after his family moved from Trucksville when he was five. He graduated from Lehman High School in 1960 and received his degree in accounting from Wilkes-Barre Business College. Robert was employed by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board as a manager in Chester County for 25 years. He was also employed at Gerrity's Supermarkets for a number of years before his retirement. He had a tremendous service record with the Jaycees of Chester County and gave to many worthwhile causes.
Robert was a devout Christian and loved the Lord and his friends at the Old Missionary Church in Jackson Twp., especially Pastor Warren Major and his wife Dorothy and close friend, Darrell Major. Happiness in heaven, Robert.
He is survived by sisters, Sara Louise Gregory of Lehman and Barbara Kohler of Dallas; brothers, Donald Gregory and his wife Linda of Huntington Mills and Harry Gregory and his wife Leslie of Tunkhannock; nieces, Samantha Millard and Sarah Gregory, both of Tunkhannock.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 15, 2016 at 11:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor David Wise of the God's Missionary Church, Berwick, officiating.
Friends may call 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Monday prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Cedar Crest Cemetery, Trucksville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to God's Missionary Church, C/O Pastor Warren Major, 264 Jackson Rd. Shavertown, PA 18708.
