Carol Jean Brocious, age 60 of Hunlock Creek, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at the Timber Ridge Health Care Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Mrs. Brocious was born in Kingston on December 13, 1955 and was the daughter of the late Derwood and Harriet Pimm Kocher.
Carol resided in Hunlock Creek for the last 25 years. She was employed for the Wyoming Valley Health Care system for 25 years.
Carol is survived by her husband of 23 years, Kenneth Brocious; daughter, Kristin O' Mack and her husband Richard of Wilkes-Barre; son, Richard Dean Davis, Jr. of Dallas; brothers, Derwood Kocher, Jr. and Daniel Kocher; grandchildren, Jeremy, Steven, Brianna, Haley, Casey, Kelsey, Teresa, and Dean; great-grandson, Oliver.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 15, 2016 at 7:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Carol Folk of the Loyalville United Methodist Church, officiating.
Private interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek.
