John M. Kubasti, Jr., age 75 of Kingston Twp., passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 at River Street Manor, Wilkes-Barre.

Mr. Kubasti was born in Kingston, PA, and was the son of the late John Michael, Sr. and Mary Ondish Kubasti.

John attended Dallas High School and was employed at the former Klein Auto Parts in Wilkes-Barre for many years and later retired from Trade Eastern, Inc. in Wilkes-Barre. He loved the outdoors including hunting, fishing, and walking in the woods. John enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of the Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas.

He is survived by daughter, Patricia Hackling and her husband Lewis of Noxen; son, Jeffrey Kubasti and his fianc Teena O' Connor of Lehman Twp.; sister, Mary Michaels of Berkley Springs, WV; grandchildren, Lewis and Hunter Hackling and Matthew Kubasti.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
