Carolyn Naugle, age 78 of Pikes Creek, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on April 29, 2017. Mrs. Naugle was born in Nanticoke on July 2, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Theodore and Chesterine (Janusziewicz) Wisneski. She enjoyed spending special time with family, especially her children and six grandchildren whom she adored and was always there for. She also enjoyed tending to her many flower gardens. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by young son, William Naugle, III, her sister Marie Daniels, and brothers Chester, Teddy, and Tony Wisneski.. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 59 years, William Naugle; daughters Lisa Notturno of Redford, Michigan; Mary Karpa and her husband Zigmund of Birdsboro; son, Kevin Naugle and his wife Jennifer of Pikes Creek; and grandchildren, Frank Notturno; Amanda, Jessica and Shelby Karpa; and Kyle and Keera Naugle. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. Alex Roche of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, officiating. Friends may call 6 PM to 8 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek.
