Obituary of Jean Elaine St. Clair

Jean Elaine St. Clair, age 77 of Lopez, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Celtic Hospice Healthcare Inpatient Unit, Wilkes-Barre. Mrs. St. Clair was born in Wilkes-Barre on August 2, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Phillip and Mary Billings Walker. Jean graduated from Hanover High School in 1956. She and her husband, William, traveled extensively throughout the world. Jean was an active member of the United Methodist Church and taught Sunday school, played piano and organ, and sang in the choir. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women. Jean is survived by her husband of 56 years, William St. Clair; sons, Lee A. and his wife Lisa of Swoyersville, Andrew W. and his wife Laura of Plains, Jason P. of Mechanicsburg, John H. and his wife Jacqueline of Tunkhannock, Erik W. and his wife Kelly of Dallas; daughters, Amy J. Pettit and her husband Matthew of Lenhartsville and Kay E. Davis of Philadelphia; In addition she is survived by 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 at 11:00 am from the Lehman-Idetown United Methodist Church, PO Box 1, Lehman, PA 18627 with Pastor Lori Robinson, officiating. Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
