Obituary of William Henry Naugle, Jr.

William Henry Naugle, Jr., age 85 of Pikes Creek, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 30, 2017.
Mr. Naugle was born in Lehman Twp. on April 21, 1932 and was the son of the late William, Sr. and Mildred Sayre Naugle.
He graduated from Lehman High School in 1950. William and his late wife, Carolyn, enjoyed cooking, canning and tending to their property. In the last 30 years, he worked side by side with his son, Kevin, in Naugle's Custom Butchering and Deer Processing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Naugle who passed away on April 29, 2017, son, William Naugle, III, and brothers, Lewis, Lloyd and Gerald Naugle.
William is survived by daughters, Lisa Notturno of Redford, MI and Mary Karpa and her husband Zigmund of Birdsboro; son, Kevin Naugle and his wife Jennifer of Pikes Creek; sisters, Betty Remley of Pikes Creek, Doris Gordon of Benton and Alice Kuczawa of Valley View; grandchildren, Frank Notturno, Amanda, Jessica and Shelby Karpa and Kyle and Keera Naugle.
A prayer service will be held Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. Alex Roche of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, officiating.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek.
