Obituary of Doyle Emerson Smith

Doyle E. Smith, age 87 of Noxen, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at home.
Mr. Smith was born in Noxen on May 24, 1929 and was the son of the late Henry and Edith Beahm Smith.
Doyle was employed as a bus driver for the Lake-Lehman School District.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Nancy Keithline who passed away in 2007, brothers, Richard, Sr., Leo, Alton, Nolan and Edward Smith, and sisters, Geraldine Bear, Jean Hoyt, Mildred Boice, Dawn Smith and Evelyn Smith.
Doyle is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. L.D. Reed of the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, Harveys Lake, officiating.
There will a 1 hour time of visitation following the conclusion of the service.
