Roger Edward Benoski, 57, died unexpectedly June 15, 2026 at home.

Roger loved to drive, whether it be motorcycles, snowmobiles, side by side, or tractor trailers. His friends were a very big part of his life, from local to across the country. He worked starting with Pete Skopec in the fields, Explo-Tech, Calex, Arthur Shelly Trucking , and most recently, Bolus Trucking.

He enjoyed anything with friends, also taking his mom for rides on the side by side around the property.

Roger is survived by his mom, Ann Marie Benoski; brother, Walter; sister, Linda Sorber; nephew, Robert Sorber; niece, Amy Dale and her husband, Bob Dale; and several great nieces and nephews.

Preceding Roger in death is his dad, Walter E. Benoski; and brother-in-law, Robert Sorber.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home before the service on Saturday.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre.
