Mae Valda Stevens Obituary

Mae Stevens, age 102 of Plymouth, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Plymouth Manor Personal Care Center.



She was born in Wilkes-Barre on October 4, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Lewis.



Mae graduated from GAR High School and was employed as a nurse at various nursing homes and hospitals in the area. She was a former member of the Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church, Plymouth.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Stevens; siblings, Ed and Vaughn Lewis.



Mae is survived by her children, Bob Stevens (Lorraine), Jack Stevens (Cathy) and Kerrie Race; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.



There will be no funeral services or calling hours.


Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., Corner of Routes 29 & 118, Pikes Creek.


Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
