David George Kapson, age 74 of Lake Twp., passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was born in Kingston on January 1, 1951 and was the son of the late Stanley and Elaine Avery Kapson.
David graduated from Dallas High School in 1968 and obtained a bachelor's degree from the Pennsylvania State University, Main Campus. He was the Director of Purchasing for the Woodlands Inn and Resort, working there for over 47 years. David was an avid outdoorsman including hunting and fishing. He was also an avid Penn State and Phillies fan. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and being active in his children's academics and sports activities.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard.
David is survived by his wife of 45 years, the former Gail Sagan; sons, David J. Kapson (Allison) and Dustin Kapson (Amelia); siblings, Jennie Martin, Jan Kapson, Ellen La Russo, Elaine Barber and Edward Kapson; grandchildren, Fiona, George, May and Liza; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
