Barbara Lucile Taylor, 88, of Harvey's Lake, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 23 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Santa Monica CA on April 25, 1937 to the late Mildred Roebeck and Richard Krogel. After graduation from high school Barbara married Charles W Taylor, then in the US Air Force, and lived in Wisconsin and New York before finally residing in the Back Mountain. She was happiest visiting and drinking coffee with friends and family at her kitchen table. Some of her greatest pleasures were watching the wildlife in her yard and the birds at her many feeders, tending to her flowers and caring for her pets. She also loved to go camping and was able to do so until the very end.
In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband of 63 years Charles and her sister Mildred.
At the time of her death, she was survived by her five children, daughters Maribeth Tarnalicki, husband Joe, of Shavertown PA and Jodi of Upland CA; and sons Chuck, wife Michele of Skippack PA, Mark, wife Doris of Harding PA and Michael of Milton PA. Barbara is also survived by her brother Richard of Oakland CA, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, and friends.
