Obituary of Mildred Harriet Berretta

Mildred Harriet Berretta, age 78 of Lake Silkworth, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.

 

She was born in Pringle on February 3, 1947 and as the daughter of the late Robert and Charlotte Powell.

 

Harriet was an avid lover of animals and deeply loved spending time with her family, friends, and neighbors. She also enjoyed her yearly trips to Clarks Summit with her husband and family.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Charlotte and Tabitha; and brother, Robert.

 

Harriet is survived by her husband of 38 years, Rudy; children, Julia Schwartz, George Gegaris, and Jill Nardone; several loving grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

 

A Funeral Service be held Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 12:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Linda McDermott, officiating.

 

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home before the service on Tuesday.

 

Private Interment will be in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas.
