Larry John Harris, age 74 of Nanticoke, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025 at the Mountain City Nursing And Rehabilitation Center, Hazle Township.
He was born in Maryland on October 21, 1950 and was the son of the late Audrey Tomshaw.
Larry served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked at Proctor and Gamble for over 30 years working on machines and trained dogs for police service. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and his trips to the NY State Fair. He was a kind and loving man that was always willing to offer a helping hand to those in need.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Beatrice Harris who raised him.
Larry is survived by his wife, Blanche Turcic; several step-children and grandchildren; siblings, Michael and Steven Tomshaw and Jeanne Moattari; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Prayer Service will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 at 10:00 AM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
Viewing will be Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home before the service.
Interment will be in Kocher Cemetery, Lake Township.
