Obituary of Catherine Shirley DeRemer

Catherine DeRemer, age 86, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025 at her home in Lake Township.
She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Richard DeRemer; daughter, Dawn Barber; grandchildren, Danielle Sweeney and James Barber.
She is survived by her sons, Francis Kelly (Ann) of Dallas, Richard DeRemer (Tracy) of Lake Twp., and Patrick DeRemer (Crystal) of Pine Grove; stepdaughter, Suzanne Floyd of Ashley; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren are left to honor her memory as well.
A graveside service will be held Friday, February 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Maple Hill Cemetery Chapel, 68 E. Saint Mary's Rd., Hanover Twp., PA 18706 with her granddaughter, Lauren DeRemer, officiating.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
