
Obituary of Roswell Emer Bixby Sr.
He was born in Green , NY on September 20, 1932, and was the son of the late Fred and Leona Crum Bixby.
Roswell served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a construction worker for American Asphalt for over 20 years. Roswell was a member of the Harveys Lake Assembly of God, and was an avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman and enjoyed his gardening. He was a loving father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Smith Bixby; daughter, Kathleen Lamoreaux; grandson, Jesse Bixby; and several siblings.
Roswell is survived by son, Roswell Bixby (Celia) of Noxen; daughter, Stephanie Keen (Joe) of Florida; siblings, Warren, Ramona, and Roland; son-in-law, Woodrow Lamoreaux; grandchildren, Tanya, Robert, and Vincent; great-grandchildren, Chloe, McKenzie, Sydney, and Austin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
