Bruce Anderson, of Harveys Lake, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024, after a brief stay at Allied Hospice in Wilkes-Barre. He was a big man with a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor.
He was the son of the late Grover W. and Flora Hicks Anderson. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Grove and Gary Anderson.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Nancy Kerns; son, David (Corrine) Anderson of Harveys Lake; daughter, Barbra Anderson of Dallas; stepson, Albert Kerns of Indian Harbor Beach, FL; sisters, Lynn Anderson of Tunkhannock and Wendy (David) Garrety of Harveys Lake; grandchildren, Jonathan, Amber, and Nathan; great-granddaughter, Skylar; several nieces and nephews.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend. Bruce loved to hunt, fish, bake, eat cookies, watch old westerns, and joke with his friends. He especially enjoyed to get the last laugh.
At Bruce’s request, there will be no funeral services or calling hours.
Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
