Darwin R. Mininger, age 68 of Sweet Valley, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

He was born in Sellersville, PA and was the son of the late Walter and Grace Moyer Mininger.

Darwin was a graduate of Souderton High School and enjoyed working in the transportation industry since graduating in 1973. He was employed at MGN Logistics for the past 9 years. He was passionate about gardening, cooking, loved his family especially his grandchildren, the Lord and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Darwin was as kind as they come, whether it be at his grandson's sporting events, the grocery store or at church, you were always greeted with a warm smile and a hello. People always knew when he was near, as you could smell the fragrance of his cigar. Darwin was an active member of the Lehman-Idetown United Methodist Church.

Darwin is survived by his wife of 39 years, Tammy Mininger, who would have celebrated their 40 year wedding anniversary on November 9th; children, Colleen Kapitula (Mark), Jonas Mininger (Ashley), Katlin Mininger (Dave Smith) and Kory Mininger (Celeste); grandchildren, Hunter, Colton, Irelynn, Harper, Bailey and Bryson; siblings, Ron Mininger (Kathy), Dale Mininger (Joanne), Cheryl Wright (Todd), Charlene Kershaw (Bob) and Nevin Mininger; sister-in-law, Lisa Cianci;

A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 6:00 PM from the Lehman-Idetown United Methodist Church, 1011 Mountain View Dr., Lehman, PA 18627, with Pastor Daniel Havrilla, officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
