Gary Walter Cadwalader Obituary

Gary W. Cadwalader, 68 years old, a lifelong resident of Chase, passed away at his home on October 23, 2023. Gary was born September 25, 1955 in the Nesbitt Hospital in Kingston.

He was the son of the late Albert and Elizabeth Chmura Cadwalader. He was a graduate of Lake-Lehman High School, Class of 1973.

Gary and his late brother, Bruce Cadwalader, ran Cadwalader Excavating for many years in the Wyoming Valley. They traveled across the United States on many hunting trips; they both loved the outdoors, especially Alaska. He enjoyed going to tractor pulls, area fairs, having breakfast with his buddies, and talking politics. Gary and Bruce were inseparable.

He is survived by several cousins and many friends, who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held later at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.

The family would like to thank Fresenius Kidney Care, Dallas, for the expert care given to Gary throughout the years.
