Jeffrey Royer, age 65 of Sweet Valley, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 29, 2023 at his home.
He was born in Kingston on February 4, 1958 and was the son of the late David W., Sr. and Josephine Metsko Royer.
Jeff graduated from International Correspondence School with a degree in air conditioning and refrigeration, Thompson Electronics Technical School with a degree in electronics and Luzerne County Community College with a degree in electrical construction technology. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, attending car shows and was a loving husband.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Susan (Zdan) Royer; sister, Susan Worth; brothers, David, Jr. (Carol) and Mark (Debbie); sisters-in-law, Sharon Sarf and Karen Thompson; several nephews.
As per Jeff's wishes, there will be no public viewing or funeral services.
Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
Private interment will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Shavertown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
