John "Luke" L. Stucker, age 54 of Trucksville, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre on November 26, 1968 and was the son of the late John L. Stucker, Sr. and Marianne McGovern.
John graduated from Coughlin High School and then from Luzerne County Community College.
He worked as an over the road truck driver for many years and then as a driver in the gas industry. John was the Assistant Chief for the Lake Silkworth Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company and was also a fire police officer. He attended Fellowship Church in Dallas. John enjoyed riding his motorcycle and DJ'd for many years. He was the coach for the Hanover Area Mini-Hawks Football Team.
John is survived by his wife of 33 years, the former Cindy Newman; children, Andrew Stucker (Crystal), Angela Stucker and Brandon Stucker; brother, Ernest Dixon; grandchildren, Jeremy, Alivia, Gavin, Laney, Harmony, Sherrianne, Raffael and Saylor; former daughter-in-law, Heidi Alwill; his dog, Butterbean; numerous nieces and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
