Mary Ann S. Naugle, age 80 of Hunlock Creek, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Birchwood Nursing Home, Nanticoke, with her family by her side.
She was born in Old Forge on December 22, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Zelonis Malecki.
Mary Ann graduated from Coughlin High School in 1956. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Martz Trailways and later for Naugle Sand and Gravel for 23 years. Mary Ann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandson, Aidan, and her pets, Jax, Riggley, Kitalie and Peaches.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Lewis Naugle and sister, Sophie Friel.
Mary Ann is survived by daughter, Luann Lucarino and her husband Chris of Hunlock Creek; brother, Stephen Delman of Florida; grandson, Aidan.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 3:00 pm from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Dan Brubaker of the Roaring Brook Baptist Church, officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00 - 3:00 PM on Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
