Alice E. Adams, age 83 of Hunlock Creek, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Plymouth on August 24, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Luther and Helen Bonning. Alice graduated from Plymouth High School and worked as a housekeeper and nanny for over 14 years. Alice was a member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lake Silkworth. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and camping. Alice and her husband enjoyed wintering at Merry D Campground where they worked part time with Disney World. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Alice is survived by her husband of 25 years, Daniel Adams; sons, Bernie Janusz and his wife Melissa and Chris Janusz and his wife Kristell; daughter, Karen Janusz; sisters, Lucille Wechsler and Marie Bond; grandchildren, Vinny, Alicia, Aubrey, Ella, Ava and Cassie; great-grandchild, Aiden; sister-in-law, Patricia Grabowski; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 9:30 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am from the Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Church, 2011 State Route 29, Hunlock Creek, PA 18621 with Rev. Brian Van Fossen, officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM from the funeral home on Wednesday. Interment will be in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
