Obituary of Audrey Louise Wright

Audrey L. Wright, age 82 of Monroe Township, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, September 15, 2017 at home. Mrs. Wright was born in Wilkes-Barre on February 14, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Hilda Mae Crispell Shupp. Audrey graduated from Beaumont High School in 1954. She was an active lifelong member of the Bowman's Creek Free Methodist Church. Audrey enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a giving heart, always putting others first. She loved serving her Lord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Carlton Shupp. Audrey is survived by her husband of 61 years, Emory Wright; son, John and his companion Joan King of Monroe Twp.; daughter, Cheryl Maculloch and her husband Gene of Centermoreland and Joann Koechel and her husband David of Noxen; grandchildren, Nathan, Carrie and Danae; 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 11:00 am from the Bowman's Creek Free Methodist Church, 6462 PA-309, Monroe Township, PA 18627 with Pastor Lynn Mokwa, officiating. Friends may call 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Wednesday prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Orcutt's Grove Cemetery, Noxen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Bowman's Creek Free Methodist Church, 6462 PA-309, Monroe Twp., PA 18627.
