Obituary of Diana Mary Marsh

Diana M. Nienius Marsh, age 86 of Dallas, passed away, Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Bonham Nursing Center, Stillwater. Mrs. Marsh was born in Lake Township on December 15, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Jonas and Mary Padolskus Nienius. Diana graduated from Lake Twp. High School in 1947. She was employed at the former Natona Mills in Dallas for 14 years, General Cigar Company in Kingston for 15 years and worked as a nurses aide for the Visiting Nurses Association for 13 years. Diana was a secretary for the Chestnut Grove Cemetery Association from 1984 to 2011. She was a member of the Loyalville United Methodist Church and then the Dallas Baptist Church, where she was active in both churches as a Sunday school teacher. She was also member of the Meshoppen Baptist Church where she was the pianist and was active in the choir. Diana was the self-appointed family photographer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Joseph J Marsh who passed away in 1981, son, Richard John Wegner who passed away in 1984, brothers, William T. Nienius and Victor J. Nienius, sisters, Mildred Darnell, Dorothy MacDermott and Ruth Truskowski. Diana is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11:00 am from the Loyalville United Methodist Church, 602 Loyalville Rd., Harveys Lake, with Pastor Robert Sabol, officiating. Friends may call 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Thursday at the church. Interment will be in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Loyalville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
