Heaven has another beautiful angel. On Saturday, May 7, 2016 our beautiful mother, Evangeline Vesta Swire Kijek Eagan, was given her wings to fly home to be with the lord and the loved ones that have gone before her. Evangeline, "Vangie" as she was known to her family and friends, was born on May 22, 1929 in Sweet Valley. She loved Atlantic City and playing the slot machines. She also enjoyed scratch offs, bingo, puzzle books, Grotto wings, and chocolate covered strawberries. As a talented seamstress, she spent most of her life working at local dress factories.
