Obituary of Earl Edward Booth

Earl Edward Booth, age 85 of Shickshinny, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp. Earl was born in Loyalville on June 22, 1930 and was the son of the late Walter and L. Audrey Baer Booth. Earl received his degree in theology and had pastored churches in Hammond, NY, Cassville, PA, Hardingville, NJ, Lehman, PA and retired from the Outlet Bible Tabernacle, Lake Twp. He was the owner and operator of an electronic repair shop in Mountaintop. Earl was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by daughter, Nancy Jones. Earl is survived by his wife, the former, Ann Snyder Malencore; sons, David Booth and his wife Jaynie, James Booth and his wife Robin, and Nicolas Malencore and his wife Cody; daughters, Irene Hess and her husband Carl, Marty Keech and her husband Leon, Charis Rogalis and her husband Ted, and Angela Jones and her husband Larry; 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 1:00 pm from the Outlet Bible Tabernacle, 468 Lehman Outlet Road, Dallas, with Rev. Carl Howie officiating. Friends may call 4:00 - 6:00PM on Saturday at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. Interment will be in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Loyalville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the Outlet Bible Tabernacle, 468 Lehman Outlet Rd., Dallas, PA 18612.
