Obituary of Jeanie Lou Love

Jeanie L. Love, age 67 of Sweet Valley, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was born in Charleston, WV on January 25, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Gene and Mary Ratliffe Carr. Jeanie grew up in Camels Creek, WV and later moved to Pennsylvania after meeting and marrying the love of her life, Rennie Love in 1965. She worked at Encon in Dallas, and American Silk in Plains. Jeanie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Rennie Love; son, Mark (Jackie) Love; daughters, Diane (Joe) Lettieri and Sandra (Leo) Smith; grandchildren, Curtis and Stephen Love, Kayla Lettieri, Justine Love, Melissa, Michael, Rennen, and Kendra Smith; great-grandchildren, Gabriella Love and newly added, Emma May Motter. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 at 11:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. James Quinn, officiating. Friends may call 9:00 - 11:00 AM on Friday prior to the service. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donation to be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478,Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
