Michael B. Ely, Jr., age 35 of Noxen, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 25, 2015 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Mike was born in Wilkes-Barre on April 25, 1980 and was the son of Terri Casterline Nelson of Beaumont and the late Michael B. Ely, Sr.
Michael was a truck driver for Waste Reduction in Hanover Township. His passion was riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by daughter, Violetta Kline of Beaumont; girlfriend, Katrina Litchauer of Harveys Lake; brother, Ryan Ely and his girlfriend Laura of Harding; sisters, Sheila Ely of Nantioke and Ashley Ely of Beaumont; paternal grandmother, Bertha Ely; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. L. D. Reed of the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, officiating.
Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Orcutt's Grove Cemetery, Noxen.
